Raised by Wolves: Fall 2009 Collection

So today, the new Raised by Wolves website went up in coordination with their Fall 2009 drop. For this collection, entitled Black Ice, I was fortunate enough to get a chance to help shoot the lookbook with all of our closest friends here in Ottawa. a suit…really?

In a chitchat with Marcus, he asked me this question: What do you think you will be wearing in a year from now? The question was the beginning to a series of confusing thoughts in my head. I stood there baffled by that seemingly banal  inquiry. “I have a feeling you’ll be wearing a suit or something…” he proceeded. Those words which first seemed foolish and humorous soon became not as farfetched as they resonated in my head for a few days. I found in the depths of a forgotten closet of my house, a pair of vintage brown leather oxford shoes (WITH a wooden sole). They were almost too beautiful to be unworn. However, the only manner to be wearing them would be completed with a nice light toned suit. I caught myself in the midst of searching for a suit on Jcrew and actually found 2 to perfectly assemble the outfit I had imagined…Marcus you know something on and beyond my own knowledge hahaha

React Create

Came across a pretty dope blog concept today…It’s entitled React Create, basically: “It’s simple: I react to things I see. Things I like. Cool stuff. Things I feel strongly about… and not just design. Those are posted in the REACT column. For Montrealers, you might recognize some of his work, through Brakeless’ new t-shirt line with the creative minds behind Sometimes.
